Yesterday we read a few selections from the diary of famous diarist Samuel Pepys. Some of you wanted to see what the diary looked like, and how he encoded his writing. You will find images of the actual diary entries here, and a more an online archive of his writings here.
From Pepys, we will be moving on to look at a number of other writers, all of whom have written particularly good examples of personal narratives for us, which we can use for a better understanding of the form, and models for your own foray into journal writing (remember, 20 minutes a day or 3 full-pages, whichever comes first).
