The New Brunswick Writer's Federation

Although its website isn't very well-maintained, and its news-blog hasn't been updated in over a year, the New Brunswick Writer's Federation may be something to consider. For as a little as ten dollars a year (for as long as you are in high-school), you can have a membership in the federation, which gives you access to news, contests, special events, discounts at certain bookstores (including the UNB bookstores in town), and a newsletter. If your parents are looking for a stocking-stuffer this year, or, you think that you might like to do some writing outside of this year's AP class, consider the NBWF.
