That's right! After pestering you to read "On Writing Well", and monopolizing all the copies in the province, I now have enough for everyone to read. If you have already read the book in an earlier edition I would encourage to have another look at this edition (the tenth!), as there are a few additions that are worth your consideration. We'll be meeting next week (Tuesday) to discuss your thoughts and observations on Part One, which deals with the nuts and bolts of non-fiction writing.
As I mentioned in our last meeting, you should make every effort to write daily. The subject is unimportant, but the act of writing daily will help to prepare you. Think of this as your warm-up for the marathon to come :-)
